After years of wishing, UT sorority women are going to have houses. The new sorority village will be located at the southeast corner of Neyland Drive and Kingston Pike across from the university's Visitors Center.
2001 Campus Master Plan
Specific Proposal #15 - Student recreational fields would be dramatically expanded at the Cherokee campus, as well as some additional facilities on the West campus. UT has a high percentage of students involved in intramural sports who will use these additional softball, soccer, and football fields. A facility along the river at the Cherokee Campus would also serve water activities such as crew.
