Inaugural Capital Campaign
Preserving our Tradition; Securing our Future

In conjunction with the introduction of the Volunteer Rugby Foundation, a three year capital campaign has been launched to secure a solid financial base for men’s rugby at the University of Tennessee.

Beginning in the summer of 2008, donors were encouraged to make gifts to the campaign through a pledge. This pledge may be satisfied by either a one-time gift or in installments over a three year period.

These gifts are deductible for federal income tax purposes, subject to the limitations placed on charitable gifts by the Internal Revenue Service.

The Volunteer Rugby Foundation has embarked on an ambitious goal of raising $75,000 in pledges to be fulfilled over a three year period. Print the pledge form and return it today to be included in this momentous campaign. Pledge Form

All donations will be credited towards the lifetime giving campaign for the foundation.  In 2000, Tennessee Rugby in cooperation with the University of Tennessee Office of Gift Records began to maintain gift records to determine the aggregate amount of giving from the annual giving program to the Tennessee Rugby Club Development Fund. In 2006 these records were migrated with the newly created Volunteer Rugby Foundation so that the donor would have a choice of ways to support Tennessee Rugby. Milestones exist to recognize those individual donors that have made the long term commitment to UT Rugby.
