Tennessee moved to 3-0 in conference with a 41-25 victory of Clemson on Saturday at the Tennessee Rugby Park.

The Vols used solid field position and sustained pressure in the second half to turn a tight contest into a solid victory.  After trailing at the break, UT ran across 5 tries in the second half.  Credit to the Tigers for fighting to the final whistle as the teams traded tries over the final 15 minutes.

The Tennessee reserves fell behind by 2 tries in the first half before awakening both with a better defensive effort and a more aggressive attack.  A pivotal try at the end of the first half from Jarret Self and then the hat trick by Kol Dorney in the second half secured the Vols of the second victory on the day.  Average age of the starting 15 in the reserve match was 18.8.

Huge thanks to the family, friends and supporters that came out to cheer on the Vols.  They were definitely rewarded with a couple of very entertaining matches.

Vols now head to Tuscaloosa for a Friday night contest against the Crimson Tide on October 22.  Kickoff is set for 7:30 CDT.   Address to the field:   UA Rec Fields, Lot A, Tuscaloosa, AL
