Volunteers Announce 2018-2019 Club Leadership

The Men's Rugby Club of the University of Tennessee has announced the student leadership for the 2018/2019 academic year. The youth movement continues for the Vols as 4 of the 6 officers are currently in their first year at Tennessee.

Student Leadership

President - Tommy Lane
The 2016 graduate of Bearden High School will be a junior in the fall majoring in Kinesiology. Tommy plays Center for the Vols.

1st Vice President - Zach McAfree
The 2010 graduation of Anderson County High School will be a sophomore in the fall majoring in Supply Chain Management.  Zach comes to Tennessee after completing his US Marines military service and plays prop for the Vols.

2nd Vice President - Nesto Rivas
Nesto is a 2015 graduate of St. Benedict of Auburndale in Cordova and will be a senior majoring in Psychology.  He was recruited to the rugby team through the walk on football try-outs and plays lock for the Vols.

Treasurer - Patrick Beacom
The 2017 graduate of Father Ryan High School will be s sophomore in the fall majoring in English / Pre-Med.  Patrick plays in the centers for the Volunteers.

Secretary - Greg Janowick
The 2017 graduate of Barrington High School near Chicago will also be a sophomore in the fall and majors in Animal Science. Greg is a lock for the Vols.

Sergeant at Arms - Lanz Williams
The 2017 graduate of Siegel High School in Murfreesboro is a rising sophomore majoring in Kinesiology. Lanz is a center for the Volunteers.
